Exotic and Mythic weapons are some of the best guns you can add to your loadout in Fortnite, but they’re not always easy to find while exploring the island. Here’s how you can easily get every Exotic and Mythic weapon in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4.

Exotic weapons first appeared back in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, giving players a chance to purchase high-tier weapons from NPCs around the map. Many of these Exotics have unique effects, like explosive rounds or the ability to predict where the storm will go next.

Now that Fortnite Chapter 4 has shaken up the game with significant map changes and new Reality Augments, some players were unsure if Exotic weapons would stick around. Fortunately, they’re still available, but the way in which they can be found has changed.

How to get Exotic weapons in Fortnite

Players can buy Exotic weapons using Gold Bars and Keys.

Exotic weapons can be found inside Holo Chests which are located around the Fortnite map. Some of these chests require one Key while others require two Keys to open. However, you’ll always be able to preview what’s inside each Holo Chest so you won’t waste your Keys.

So how do you get Keys in Fortnite? Well, they often show up in chests or as floor loot. You can also get them by eliminating enemies who have one or by earning the Keymaster Reality Augment which grants two keys for free. Once you have a Key, nearby Holo Chests will appear on the map.

Exotics aren’t usually as powerful as Mythic weapons, and whether they’re actually worth spending your Bars is up to you. But like all limited-time weapons and collectibles in Fortnite, we’re sure players will be doing their best to try them all.

Most of these are the Heisted Exotics, but fan-favorites Shadow Tracker and Slap Splash have also returned to the loot pool after being popular in Chapter 4 Season 3.

Kit’s Charge Shotgun	Randomly spawns inside one of the vaults located in Relentless Retreat, Eclipsed Estate or Sanguine Suites.

Thorne’s Vampiric Blade	Defeat the Revenant Kado Thorne boss inside the Eclipsed Estates vault.
High Stakes Shotgun	Defeat the Revenant Kado Thorne boss inside the Eclipsed Estates vault.
Todoroki’s Ice Wall	Acquire from Loot Chests or floor loot.
Witch Broom	Acquire from Loot Chests or floor loot.

The Thorne’s Vampiric Blade from the Revenant Kado Thorne boss is a more powerful variant of the Kinetic Blade that grants Siphon on eliminations. Revenant Kado Thorne is a difficult enemy to beat as he spawns inside the vault with large amount of health and multiple henchmen swarming the area, so you need to watch your step and clear the area before you can take his items in the game.
