Destiny 2 Banshee-44 weapons: Weekly inventory, daily guns, what to buy

Every week the Gunsmith offers a range of new guns for sale. This can include great rolls, hard to acquire weapons, and occasionally even meta firearms. Here’s everything you need to know about Banshee-44 and which weapons are worth buying this week.

Although Season of the Witch has introduced the Exotic Mission Rotator – bringing back a variety of old craftable weapons – it can still be difficult and time-consuming to get the rolls you want.

Thankfully, Destiny 2 does offer a couple of methods to help players get around this. Alongside Xur’s weekly stock, Banshee-44 is one of the few ways players can acquire rare and interesting gun rolls.

How does Banshee-44 work in Destiny 2?

Banshee-44’s weekly stock is refreshed every Thursday at 12 AM GMT/5 PM PT/8 PM ET every Tuesday. The next weekly stock refresh will take place on October 19.

Some of Banshee-44’s featured stock changes daily with the rolls and guns sold rotating every day. It’s important to check Banshee’s stock daily to make sure you don’t miss out on a potential god roll.

The guns sold by Banshee are mostly random but there are some limitations. He will always sell at least three weapons capable of utilizing the Season Artifact’s anti-Champion perks. For Season of the Witch, these are Auto Rifle, Bow, Scout Rifle, Handgun, Fusion Rifle, and Machine Gun.

What Banshee-44 weapons to buy in Destiny 2 (October 12 – 18)

From Banshee-44’s weekly rotation, we recommend the following weapons:

• Boudica-C: This is by no means an extraordinary roll but the Boudica-C is one of the better sidearms in PvP and with Arrowhead Brake, Armor-Piercing, and Hip-Fire Grip there’s some fun to be had dueling other Guardians.
• Marsilion-C: Heavy Grenade Launchers aren’t generally worth using in PvP but this Marsilion at least offers an interesting alternative for Solar builds with Envious Assassin & Incandescent having great add clear potential. Ideal for lower-end content like Strikes and Patrols.

From Banshee-44’s daily rotation, we recommend the following weapons:

• Escape Velocity: Although this Lightweight Frame SMG is somewhat dated by modern Destiny standards it still offers some impactful rolls and remains a solid option for when a Kinetic Primary is needed. God Roll: Overflow/Threat Detector + Surrounded ❌
• Retrofit Escapade: Not only the best 900 RPM Machine Gun in Destiny but arguably one of the best Legendary weapons altogether. If you have Deepsight Harmonizers lying around this is a great weapon to use them on. God Roll: Fourth Time’s the Charm + Target Lock ❌
